MD, PhD, Senior Consultant in Anaesthesiology with broad experience in Emergency and Prehospital medicine. PhD focused on interhospital transport of critically ill patients. 16 years as a physician at the Norwegian Rescue Helicopter (330SKV). Active as trainer, facilitator and lecturer for students, air ambulance personnel and medical specialists. Additional experience in pediatric medicine.
Rescue Paramedic at the Norwegian Air Ambulance. Trained paramedic and outdoor life guide, with further education in Prehospital Critical Care. Active climber with the Norwegian Alpine Rescue Groups and founder of First Aid for Outdoor Life under the Norwegian Mountain Sports Forum. Founder of Mountain Safety & Medicine AS.
Specialist in Preventive, Occupational and Environmental Health. Senior physician with 20 years of experience in preventive medicine. International experience with Médecins Sans Frontières, other aid organizations, and the Armed Forces. Expert knowledge of biological, physical, and chemical exposures in challenging environments.
Anesthesiologist and Expedition Doctor. Mountain medicine and in-hospital medicine specialist. Experience from helicopter rescue and air ambulance operations in Australia. Former Navy mine diver. Deployed to Afghanistan as a field medic. Member of the Norwegian Alpine Rescue Groups (NARG).

Co-founder of “First Aid for Outdoor Life” under the Norwegian Mountain Sports Forum — a resource now used by the Norwegian Trekking Association, universities, and the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences.
